Michael Michaud
is a handcrafted jewelry maker living in Fairfield, Connecticut. His latest collection, Silver Seasons, is the combination of Michael Michaud's exceptional knowledge of jewelry making and his love of nature. Starting as an apprentice mold cutter in 1973, Michael soon became a master precious metal caster and mold maker. In 1976, seeking even more knowledge, Michael moved on to Rochester Institute of Technology's prestigious School for American Craftsmen.  While studying under esteemed designers Hans Christenson and Gary Griffin, he mastered many of the techniques he uses today to capture the beauty and exquisite detail of nature in metal. In 1980, Michael returned to the jewelry manufacturing community and worked for some of America's leading jewelry designers.

While living in the Connecticut country side and working near New York City's flower district, Michael began combining his love of nature with his skills as a handcrafted jewelry maker. He began experimenting with various techniques that eventually resulted in the initial launch of his Silver Seasons collection.

Michael has perfected the technique of creating molds from elements found in nature. Using bronze, sterling silver or gold, along with natural stones and pearls, Michael's designs are renowned for their remarkable craftsmanship and beauty.
